After joining the company, his first task was to overcome the difficulty of the anti-theft handle structure. Traditional structures are difficult to balance between anti-theft performance and ease of operation, while the market's requirements for anti-theft performance are getting higher and higher. Luo Sheng widely collected user feedback, summarized past problem points, and repeatedly tested different structural designs by building physical models and simulating various usage scenarios. After countless attempts and adjustments, he successfully found an optimization solution. The new structure not only enhances the anti-theft performance, but also simplifies the operation process, improves the user experience, and lays the foundation for the upgrade of subsequent products. With this achievement, Luo Sheng won the 2017 R&D Best Newcomer Award, opening a new chapter of his continuous progress in Mingmen.

At Mingmen, Luo Sheng always maintains a spirit of research on technology and an ultimate pursuit of products. From 2018 to 2019, he participated in the improvement project of the E6068 electronic lock body. At that time, the market had higher and higher requirements for the convenience and versatility of door locks, while the original anti-theft handle structure was relatively complex and had limited adaptability. Luo Sheng carefully analyzed every part and every connection and tried a variety of simplification solutions. By optimizing the internal transmission structure and reducing unnecessary parts, he successfully simplified the overall structure, reduced the failure rate, and improved the convenience of installation. The improved E6068 electronic lock body has greatly enhanced adaptability and is widely used in various residential and commercial places. The market feedback is good, and the product sales have steadily increased, winning more market share for the company.

In 2020, Luo Sheng served as the structural design work of the K5572V mechanical lock body project. At that time, the market demand for silent door locks was becoming increasingly prominent, and the noise generated by traditional mechanical lock bodies during use caused many troubles for users. Luo Sheng's design ideas revolved around how to effectively reduce the sound of the lock body during operation. He deeply studied the movement principles of the various components inside the lock body, starting from optimizing the friction between the parts, selecting special low-friction materials, and finely processing the surfaces of key components to reduce the noise generated by mechanical collisions. At the same time, the structure of the lock body was innovatively designed, and a buffer device was added to further absorb and disperse the vibration generated during operation. After repeated testing and improvement, he successfully launched the fifth generation of Mingmen mechanical silent lock body, which achieved the goal of minimizing the use noise while ensuring the performance of the lock body, bringing users a quiet use experience.

From 2021 to 2022, Luo Sheng took on the dual responsibilities of project manager and structural designer for the D6068 fully automatic lock body platform creation project. As a project manager, he needs to comprehensively coordinate planning, formulate a detailed project schedule, and coordinate close cooperation among multiple departments such as R&D, production, and testing to ensure that the project proceeds as planned. In terms of structural design, he has to take into account the functional realization and overall stability of the fully automatic lock body. Incorporating the company's silent concept into it is a key task of this project. He led the team to conduct in-depth research on all aspects of the noise generated during the operation of the lock body, from motor operation, gear transmission to lock tongue extension, without missing any details. By optimizing the installation position and shock absorption design of the motor, the vibration transmission during the operation of the motor is reduced; high-precision, low-noise gear materials are selected, and the gear tooth shape is optimized to reduce friction and noise during gear transmission; in the lock tongue structure, a buffer device and a silent coating are added to make the lock tongue more stable and quiet. After countless trials and improvements, he finally succeeded in perfectly integrating the silent concept into the D6068 fully automatic lock body platform, laying a solid foundation for creating the industry's first silent fully automatic lock body.

In 2023, the smart home market showed explosive growth, and the cooperation and competition between brands became increasingly fierce. In such an industry environment, the cooperation between Mingmen and a major customer has become an inevitable trend. The opportunity stems from the high degree of fit between the two parties in the development direction of the smart home market and the complementary needs of each other in technology and market resources. In order to launch the D6068 fully automatic lock body that meets customer requirements, Luo Sheng led the project team to communicate closely with the customer's technical experts. After gaining an in-depth understanding of the overall architecture, communication protocol, and user expectations of the door lock function of the customer's smart door lock, they optimized the D6068 fully automatic lock body in all aspects. From the standardized design of the hardware interface to the deep adaptation of the software system, after multiple rounds of testing and adjustment, we finally successfully launched a product that is perfectly compatible with the customer's smart door lock.


In 2024, market competition is becoming increasingly fierce, and cost control has become the key to corporate development. In order to adapt to this market change, Luo Sheng started to reduce the cost of the D6068 fully automatic lock body. In terms of strategy, he started from three aspects: supply chain management, production process optimization, and product design improvement. After a series of efforts, he successfully completed the cost reduction target according to customer requirements. This achievement not only enhances the price competitiveness of the product in the market, but also brings considerable economic benefits to the company. Up to now, the cumulative shipments of the D6068 fully automatic lock body cost reduction model have reached 300,000 units, becoming the company's star product and providing strong support for the company's sustainable development.
